Mia was born approximately April 1st, 1996. There were 5 kittens in the litter, but only three lived: a black and white kitty, a tan and white kitty, and a brown tabby with white socks and belly---that's Mia! Mia was a bit stoned when we got her (the mother cat lived with some college kids who enjoyed the wacky weed), but recovered within a day and became the most EVIL kitten (biting, breaking things, climbing curtains to get out of our reach). She calmed down the day we brought Zoe home, and has been a very dignified queen cat ever since.

Mia likes to eat grass, which the vet tells us is normal. The fact that Mia begs and whines to be let outside to eat grass is probably NOT considered normal!

Mia is the alpha cat at our house, and Zoe frequently receives beatings as proof of this status. Oddly, Mia seems to be very lenient of Toby Poodle's rough behavior (chewing ears, romping about, nipping cat tails).
