A Few Things I Didn't Write About in 2006, In No Particular Order:

• The full extent to which my previous employer was Not a Good Situation [now with hindsight!]
  
• The suckitude that was being president of our Homeowner's Association
  
• The pissing cat, termites, floods, rotting structures and falling trees that plagued Cheezleton Manor, now also known as Disaster Castle
  
• My new employer's holiday party
  
• Also? Sophie was right: my boobies DID look sooo great in that dress
  
• A New Year's resolution that didn't quite come to fruition
  
• How it came about that we selected the Canon EOS Rebel XTi instead of the Nikon D70s
  
• Secondary infertility
  
• The caucus-race that was the thought process about whether or not to keep this site going
  
• Wormholes, in the spacetime sense
  
• Calling the local non-emergency police number and getting patched through to an operator who--I am TOTALLY not making this up--interrupted me three times to yell at his kid (???)
  
• F'ing teenagers around here...
  
• Being invited to speak at a professional conference in Australia and being over the moon with excitement for approximately three seconds before realizing that Australia would be an awfully long drive, and also, speak...like in front of actual people?

A Few Things That I Might--Might--Write About in 2007:

• The asshats who RAN OVER MY MAILBOX with their ATV in the middle of a January night
  
• The Theory of the Low-hanging Fruit and how it applies to the inbred heart of Southern Maryland
  
• How being a preschooler is apparently not all that different from being wildly delusional
  
• Secondary infertility: the pros and cons
  
• The attempted drama from a certain someone who is not as anonymous as he thinks he is
  
• A couple of new and newish resolutions for 2007
  
• The very good odds that my previous employer will "forget" to send me a W-2 form and will require a reminder that involves the letters I-R-S
  
• Detective Darth Flatulence came home for a visit and we managed a 3-hour car ride with him that didn't ONCE involve the rest of us frantically rolling down our windows
  
• How my formerly 16-pound cat somehow managed to fatten her ass up to 18 FREAKING POUNDS on diet cat food
  
• How said 18-pound cat feels the need to stand ON my sleeping body whenever she feels the nighttime urge to puke up a hairball
  
• The distance that it's possible to throw an 18-pound vomiting cat when hurriedly ejecting it from the bed
